There is a Marginal Risk of Severe Weather today and into tonight for Northwest Texas. A few storms will be capable of Damaging Winds and Large Hail, but nothing widespread or significant is expected. Across Oklahoma and Kansas, a greater threat will exist, where even a Tornado or two will be possible. Wind fields farther south in Texas will not be favorable for Tornadoes, so the concerns are Wind and Hail.
Isolated storms may develop in North Central Texas today with a better chance tonight/early Thursday morning. In both cases, gusty winds, lightning, and locally heavy rain will accompany the stronger cells, but Severe Weather is not anticipated at this time.
