This is a quick update on rain chances late Saturday into Sunday. Rain chances still look good for areas near and east of the I-35 corridor. East Texas is still set to see the greatest rainfall amounts with several areas likely receiving over an inch by Sunday morning. Places like Dallas, Fort Worth, and Waco will see about a 50-60% chance of rain with the highest chances Saturday night. This is the best in some time, but it still means that roughly half will unfortunately not see any rain. Also, amounts will likely range from a trace to around .25" for most areas that see rain along I-35 in North Texas. Here is a loop of the rain chances Saturday, Saturday night, and Sunday.
This is the latest 48-hour rainfall graphic from the National Weather Service. These are the amounts that are possible into early Sunday morning. Any Strong to Severe Thunderstorms should be limited near the coast of Southeast Texas. Nothing widespread or significant is expected, though.
