As seen on the Facebook page today:
"Our next upper-level disturbance will arrive the middle of next week. Based on the recurring cycle theory, we knew that our next feature of interest would be around December 27-28th as discussed on the blog a few days ago. Right now, the threat for Wintry Weather appears low, but if our disturbance is a bit stronger and/or temperatures slightly colder, this potential could increase. The majority of the weather models suggest only light amounts of rain at this time. Looking ahead, additional disturbances will be possible in the Plains with a stronger system possibly impacting the region around January 4-5th. We will take a closer look at this after Christmas."
