"Just a quick update on the recurring cycle. The first few systems in this second cycle repeated about 51 days apart from the first. Then, the more recent pieces of energy cycled around 48 days. I thought the next system would possibly affect the region around January 4-5th, but it appears that it may be closer to when the first few cycled. This means that the next potential weather-maker for the Southern Plains may be around January 7-8th. We will take a closer look at the weather pattern into mid-January in a few days."
