The SPC has a Marginal Risk of Severe Weather for much of North Central/East Texas into tonight. I still believe we will likely see a few Supercells, as discussed late Thursday night. The area to watch is western North Texas, near the triple point, by mid to late afternoon. I would not be surprised to see parts of North Texas upgraded to a Slight Risk later today, particularly along I-20 and along/W of I-35. If surface-based storms are able to form, Quarter to Golf Ball-size Hail, Damaging Winds, and a Tornado will be possible. Keep an eye on the weather later today if you live in or near the risk area. Check the Facebook page for updates into tonight!
