More Cold Air Coming To Texas?

6:05 PM CST | November 7, 2018

We have the cold front coming this week which will bring widespread 30*F’s across the northern part of the state. Some first freezes of the season are in store for parts of the Red River Valley and Northeast Texas Friday night-Saturday morning. Another cold front arrives late this weekend/early next week. This weather system will need to be watched because, depending on how far west the upper-level energy digs, wintry precipitation would possible for *parts* of the state. We should have a much better handle on this system over the weekend.

The takeaway is more cold weather over the next week. Several days will feel more like December instead of November. Again, the weather pattern that has been shaping up over the last month bodes well for those wanting a WINTER. I am not saying that there won’t be milder periods, but there does appear to be several opportunities for Winter Weather. Could we see some early next week? We will have to wait and see...
