Slight Risk Expanded Across North Texas Tonight

7:20 PM - A Slight Risk of Severe Weather now exists for more of North Texas tonight. Otherwise, the forecast remains mostly unchanged. The greatest chance for thunderstorms will be later this evening and overnight. Hail and Wind are the primary risks, but an isolated Tornado is possible - particularly N of I-20 through the Red River Valley.

Widespread Severe Weather is not anticipated, but a risk exists for those in the highlighted areas. It would be a good idea to have your weather radio activated tonight, should a warning be issued for your area.
