Recap Of Monday's Severe Weather Outbreak

12:00 PM CDT | May 21, 2019

There were 25 Tornadoes reported across Texas and Oklahoma on Monday. A Tornado was also reported in northern Arizona, north of Flagstaff in the morning hours.

The hardest hit stretch was from Midland/Odessa, north through the panhandle, east toward Vernon, and through Oklahoma. Up to Grapefruit-size Hail was reported here in the Lone Star State. A 89 MPH Wind Gust was measured near Knox City last night. This is the map of reports. Expect additional (delayed) reports to arrive over the next 24 hours. The National Weather Service offices across the region will no doubt be conducting surveys this week. I will share their findings as they are made available.
